POSITION 1 : CONFERENCE PRODUCER

 

Are you bold, entrepreneurial, creative and dynamic? Do you have a flair for discovering new business trends? Can you take on new challenges? Above all, do you love meeting people? If you believe that you possess these traits (or more), then we at Pacific Conferences would love to talk to you.
 

The Conference Producer is responsible for developing quality conference programmes targeted at senior executives in the Asia Pacific region. It involves :

  • conducting market research to identify hot issues

  • drafting programme topics

  • recruiting qualified speakers

  • copywriting

  • vetting presentation materials

  • performing on site event duties etc.  

The Conference Producer will need to work closely with colleagues in the Administration and Marketing department to deliver a successful conference. 

 

      Requirements:

  • University graduate with excellent interviewing & research skills

  • High interest in analysing new markets & discovering business needs

  • Aptitude for digesting a high level of information in a short space of time

  • Able to write compelling sales copy & communicate with senior executives

  • Strong academic background with good grades in English

  • Ambitious & creative in developing ideas into events

  • Possess entrepreneurial aptitude with determination to succeed

  • Thrive on pressure and pride on making a difference

  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines

POSITION 2 : CONFERENCE MARKETING EXECUTIVE

 

To develop, coordinate & execute marketing plans for boosting the sales of business conferences/workshops. Job scope includes forging partnerships with trade publications, media houses and trade associations to promote the events; writing press releases, obtaining sponsorships as well as coordinating artwork, printing, mailing and acquiring sales leads etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications Studies, Business or related discipline

  • Those with 1-2 years working experience or have been actively involved in fund raising projects will be considered favourably

  • Ambitious & Aggressive

  • Result oriented, possess strong initiative, resourceful

  • Previous experience in direct & database marketing, internet marketing, A&P coordination or contra deals establishment will be a plus

  • Organised, detailed & meticulous

  • Pleasant personality and a team player

  • Able to work independently under tight deadlines

POSITION 3 : MARKETING ASSISTANT
 

Together with the marketing team, you are responsible for carrying out marketing promotions and campaigns that will boost the sales of our events. Your responsibilities include :

  • Coordination with media partners, endorsers and mailing houses on campaign fulfilment

  • Executing email broadcasts and direct mailing

  • Providing marketing administration support

Job requirements :

  • Diploma or A Level graduate

  • Excellent communications and writing skills

  • Skilled in MS Excel

  • Internet savvy

  • Experience in data entry, telemarketing or customer service will be a plus

  • Able to speak English fluently

  •  Result oriented, possess strong initiative, resourceful

POSITION 4 : MARKETING INTERN


We are looking for a Marketing Intern to assist in our development, coordination and execution of marketing plans for boosting the sales of business conferences and workshops. The Intern will be exposed to various activities behind the successful execution of an event, and gain business knowledge and practical skills which will stand the Intern in good stead for his/her future career ahead. A written testimonial will be furnished upon the Intern’s complete fulfillment of the internship.
 

As tremendous efforts will be spent on grooming the intern, only applicants who are serious in learning and with positive attitude need to apply.

 

Jobscope:

  • Conduct market research

  • Compile market data

  • Assist in forging partnerships with trade publications, associations and sponsors

  • Propose Marketing plans

  • Execute Marketing campaigns

  • Data Management

  • Telecalling

  • Prepare event logistics

  • Assist in other department tasks as and when needed

Job requirements :

Internship Duration : 130 working days. Candidates who can commit less than 130 working days may also apply. Prority will be given to candidates who can commit a longer term.

Salary:  Depends on work experience

  • Perform telemarketing and admin duties as and when required

Requirements:

  • 'O' Level & above

  • Internet savvy

  • Good Excel skills
