POSITION 1 : CONFERENCE RELATIONS EXECUTIVE

 

Do you love to organise events and bring excitement to others? Are you meticulous and resourceful? Do you like to meet people and attend to their needs? If you believe that you possess these traits (or more), we would like to invite you to apply for our Conference Relations Executive position.

 

Job Description:

In this position, you are responsible for the administrative and logistical aspects of organising business events. Working hand in hand with the Conference Producer and the Conference Marketing Executive who are in-charge of programme development and event promotion respectively, your job scope involves liaising with service providers on hotel venue, room and air ticket reservation; attending to enquiries, processing registrations and payments, compiling speakers presentations, preparing conference folder documentations and badges etc. You will also need to carry out on-site event administration and interact with participants to ensure the smooth running of the event. All and all, you need to cultivate good relationships with our speakers, delegates and partners, making their event experience a pleasurable one whilst at the same time, ensuring prompt execution of event proceedings by making sure that deadlines are adhered to by all parties.

 

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree holder in any discipline

  • Passionate in making every event a lasting experience to others

  • Organised and detailed in handling paperwork, payments and logistics

  • Resourceful in finding the best alternative

  • Conscientious in keeping cost low

  • Firm in keeping to deadlines

  • Fit and energetic in withstanding hectic schedules

  • Skilled in writing and in MS Excel

  • Patient in attending to enquires

  • Confident in interacting with senior level executives

  • Able to handle a few projects at the same time without feeling stressful


POSITION 2: CONFERENCE ADMINISTRATOR

 

Responsibilities

 

To handle all pre and post conference administration of of business conferences including :

 

• Booking and liaising with venue vendors on the logistic requirement of the conferences

• Assist in the handling and processing of registrations and enquiries.

• Handling the physical preparation before the conference.

• Assist in performing onsite duty when necessary

• Compiling conference appraisal and othe post conference matters. 

 

 Requirements

 

• Diploma in any discipline

• Passionate about organising events

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Independent and resourceful

• A good team player

 


POSITION 3 : MARKETING INTERN

 

We are looking for a Marketing Intern to assist in the development of marketing plans and execution of campaigns. Working with our team of marketing executives, the marketing intern will be exposed to various activities behind the execution of a business event, and gain commercial knowledge and practical skills which will stand the Intern in good stead for his/her future career ahead. A written testimonial will be furnished upon the Intern’s complete fulfillment of the internship.

 

The internship experience include:

• sourcing for relevant partners, sponsors and directories

• coordinating between internal and external parties to carry out campaign activities

• preparing & submitting campaign materials e.g. banner ads, print ads, email updates, event listing, press releases etc.

• sourcing & liasing with vendors

• executing email broadcasts

• make targeted marketing calls

up-keeping of marketing databases
• preparing on-site marketing logistics and branding materials

• assist in other tasks as and when needed


 

Job requirements :

  • Diploma / 'A' Level or above

  • Excellent communications and writing skills

  • Skilled in MS Excel

  • Internet savvy

  • Able to speak English fluently

  • Meticulous, possess strong initiative, resourceful

POSITION 5 : CONFERENCE PRODUCER

The Conference Producer is responsible for developing quality conference programmes targeted at senior executives in the Asia Pacific region. It involves :

  • conducting market research to identify hot issues

  • drafting programme topics

  • recruiting qualified speakers

  • copywriting

  • vetting presentation materials

  • performing on site event duties etc.  

The Conference Producer will need to work closely with colleagues in the Administration and Marketing department to deliver a successful conference. 

 

      Requirements:

  • University graduate with excellent interviewing & research skills

  • High interest in analysing new markets & discovering business needs

  • Aptitude for digesting a high level of information in a short space of time

  • Able to write compelling sales copy & communicate with senior executives

  • Strong academic background with good grades in English

  • Ambitious & creative in developing ideas into events

  • Possess entrepreneurial aptitude with determination to succeed

  • Thrive on pressure and pride on making a difference

  • Able to handle multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
