Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability, Asia Pacific,
Cheryl Chen is the Director of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability for Asia Pacific at S&P Global. She leads the efforts in the region with S&P Global Foundation grant initiatives and partnerships, employee volunteerism and corporate ESG practices. Key focus areas include the bridging the global skills gap in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM); economic inclusion of women and the under-served; and sustainable development.
She was previously Vice President, Head of Corporate Citizenship for Citi Singapore and was responsible for Citi Foundation grant programs, partnerships, charitable contributions and employee volunteerism. Cheryl started at Citi Singapore as a Management Associate in 2007 and has held various roles covering financial control, product and segment marketing.
She served on the council of Singapore’s National Youth Council from 2013 to 2017 in an advisory role, providing perspectives around the development of young leaders through initiatives in the private sector. She is also a District Councilor with the South East Community Development Council from 2014.
Cheryl graduated with a Double Degree in Bachelor of Science (Economics) and Bachelor of Business Management (Major in Finance) from Singapore Management University (SMU), and obtained the Master of Social Science at SMU in 2015. She is married and lives with her husband and two sons in Singapore.
