Elizabeth has more than a decade of experience in communications with a primary focus on corporate reputation, M&A, crisis and media management. She joined Brunswick in 2010 and has worked with a wide range of clients, including Richard Li’s private investment company Pacific Century Group, UK-based insurer Prudential plc and Hong Kong’s Bank of East Asia, who has been facing opposition from activist shareholder Elliott Management. She has also advised on the rebranding and positioning of the pan-Asian insurance group FWD, and previously supported DFS Group, the world’s leading luxury travel retailer, where she provided advisory support on corporate level issues and media engagement initiatives.
Elizabeth has also been involved in a number of transactions in Asia, including Prudential’s attempted acquisition of AIA, Yum! Brand’s privatization of Little Sheep Hotpot and BGI-Shenzhen’s acquisition of Complete Genomics, the first ever Chinese acquisition of a US-listed company. Working with private equity firm TPG, Elizabeth also has experience across various transactions in the financial, consumer and healthcare space. She has also supported clients on crisis including data breaches, employee situations and litigation issues.
Prior to Brunswick, Elizabeth worked in the Marketing and Communications division in an investment firm. Raised in Hong Kong, she speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
