Nikhil Kharoo

Head of PR & Partnerships, Asia Pacific,


Nikhil currently heads Brand Partnerships and Public Relations for Fitbit across Asia Pacific. He is responsible for driving brand partnerships and strategic communications campaign for the brand across all 12 markets in Asia Pacific (SAPAC, NAPAC and ANZ). The responsibilities also include identifying right mix of ambassadors and influencers to drive multi-platform engagement to break the clutter.

Before moving to Singapore, Nikhil led the communications and brand partnerships for Fitbit in India since launching the brand successfully in India in 2015. The two years witnessed Fitbit build wearables category. Built strong brand resonance and recall while becoming part of India’s popular culture.

Before Fitbit, with Burson Marsteller for a decade, Nikhil led key portfolio of clients as Managing Partner (Senior Director) in the firm while leading the Digital & Social team.

Nikhil’s journey has been about building successful marketing communication stories which have contributed significantly to the growth of some of the world’s leading consumer brands like HP, Logitech, Microsoft Xbox, Microsoft Hardware, Electronic Arts, BLYK, Dolby, Fitbit, Sennheiser, MakeMyTrip, Timex (includes brands like Versace, Salvatore Ferragamo), Kayak,

Nikhil was named in the first ever 30Under30 list of top of 30 Communications professionals under the age of 30, in India for 2015-16.
