Founder and Director,
Sustainable Living Lab
Veera is the founder and director of two social enterprises – Sustainable Living Lab and Makedemy. He has a keen interest in addressing sustainability challenges using futures thinking, community development and technology. As a pioneer of the Maker Movement in Singapore, he is working to steer the movement in Asia towards enabling a sustainable future.
He was recently awarded the Joseph Jaworski Next Generation Foresight Asia Special Award and represented Singapore at its UN SDG voluntary national review. He is also an INK and YSEALI fellow. He sits on the Lotus-NUS Fund panel which awards S$125K annually to local social enterprises. He graduated with a BEng (Mechanical Engineering), and Graduate Certificate in Intellectual Property from the National University Singapore.
