Events Executive (Development & Marketing)

The Event Executive (Development & Marketing) is responsible for developing quality conference/workshop programmes targeting at senior executives in the Asia Pacific region. It involves:

  • conducting market research to identify hot issues
  • drafting programme topics
  • recruiting qualified speakers
  • copywriting
  • developing and executing targeted marketing campaigns
  • vetting presentation materials and performing on site event duties

The Executive will need to work closely with colleagues in the different departments to deliver a successful event.

Requirements:

  • Degree in any discipline
  • Interest in researching and analysing market trends
  • Good business acumen in discovering business needs and creativity in developing events to meet those needs
  • Strong command of English and ability to produce compelling publicity content & communicate with senior executives
  • Possess entrepreneurial aptitude and derive motivation from making a difference to the delegates through events
  • Good time and project management skills to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Events Admin Executive

In this position, you are responsible for handling all administrative and logistics matters for business events targeting at senior executives in Asia. It involves:

  • liaising with speakers on event logistics and ensuring that their presentation slides are submitted on time
  • timely processing of registrations and enquiries
  • liaising with hotels and vendors for logistics preparation
  • performing on site duty on the event day
  • handling all participants’ requirements and ensuring an enjoyable experience for all

Sales Executive

Pacific Conferences specialises in providing senior executives with timely business events that are in-depth, practical, case studies driven and interactive. Our presentations focus on the unbiased experience sharing from industry experts on their successes and failures.

With the vast expansion and growth of our events, our company is looking for two sales executives to reach out to relevant clients.

Key roles and responsibilities:

  • Contact senior level executives and directors via phone, email and social media platforms
  • Develop partnerships to co-create value-adding channels and business platforms
  • Liaise with clients and internal departments to ensure the smooth running of events
  • Keep abreast of new developments in the industry and propose competitive strategies and developments at a regional level
  • Present business proposals and solutions to clients confidently
  • Secure sales with effective business proposals and solutions
  • Provide trustworthy follow-up and after-sales support to clients and develop excellent client relationships
  • Create retention strategies and effective business development plans for assigned accounts
  • Development of email broadcasting content for each event
  • Build healthy sales and executable sales pipelines using lead generation tools and acquire new active clients successfully
  • Champion the company’s growth plans within the Asia Pacific region by leading the company’s initiatives to expand its footprint
  • Learn about the client’s challenges and current training demands to understand their business needs
  • Meet sales target for each event
  • Produce weekly sales progress report

Requirements:

  • At least 1-3 years of B2B telesales experience from the training or event industry
  • Resourceful and resilient
  • Strong written and communications skills
  • Comfortable and confident in building rapport and selling over the phone to all levels and industries
  • Good interpersonal skills
